Modern Tactics #1 Afghanistan British Forces
IMPORTANT: This is not a stand-alone game, ownership of Modern Tactics #1 - Afghanistan is required.
Lead Britain's Finest in the Helmand Province Campaign
The war in Afghanistan was fought village by village, compound by compound, and patrol by patrol.
Every operation demanded careful planning, disciplined infantry, close cooperation with allied forces, and constant vigilance against an elusive insurgency.
Modern Tactics: Afghanistan – British Forces Expansion places you in command of the British Army, Royal Marines, Special Air Service, and supporting Afghan forces during Operation Herrick.
Experience thirteen new scenarios inspired by real operations fought throughout Helmand Province between 2001 and 2012, introducing new units, mechanics, and tactical challenges to the Modern Tactics system.
Whether conducting a night raid with the SAS, leading Gurkhas into hostile villages, defending isolated platoon houses, or escorting Afghan National Army units through dangerous territory, every mission presents unique tactical and operational decisions.
Expand Your Modern Tactics Experience
The British Forces Expansion builds upon Modern Tactics: Afghanistan by introducing an entirely new campaign focused on Britain's contribution to the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF).
Throughout Operation Herrick, British forces operated primarily in Helmand Province alongside American, Canadian, Estonian, Danish, and Afghan forces.
Their missions ranged from counterinsurgency and village clearing operations to hostage rescues, mentoring Afghan security forces, and defending remote forward operating bases.
